My Story
Hello and thank you for your interest in getting to know me better!
I was born and raised in Queens, New York, and have been the go-to person for all things NYC for as long as I can remember.
Connecting with people, creating unforgettable memories, and sharing NYC’s hidden treasures is what truly fulfills me. So much so, that in 2016, after spending more than 20 years in Corporate America in a field that didn’t align with my passion, I decided to make a change and founded Just Ask Christine.
As a Licensed Tour Guide, Certified Tour Director, and passionate New Yorker, I am dedicated to showcasing the best of New York City. My goal is to help both visitors and locals feel comfortable traveling through NYC with the full support of a trusted ‘local friend,’ so they can enjoy the city without hesitation and make every moment count.
Some fun facts about me:
- I LOVE to dance! So much so that I used to sneak out of the office to take Ballroom lessons on my lunch break!
- I LOVE to eat! The result: an insane ability to rattle off amazing restaurant suggestions at a moment’s notice, no matter what the cuisine.
- I am happiest when outdoors. I love taking long walks, making fun discoveries and meeting new people along the way.
- I am passionate about travel, art, community and supporting small business.

Sylvia Plath’s OvenMy partner and I just visited NYC for the first time and we hired Christine as our guide. She spent two days showing us her city. She taught us how to navigate, etiquette, and safety tips. Christine took our list of things we wanted to do and see and organized it so that way we weren’t running back and forth all over the city. She showed us her favorite spots, was friendly, fun, and knowledgeable. Another awesome thing Christine did was take photos and videos of everything so that we could be present but still have memories. I would recommend her to anyone. If you want to feel like you’re visiting a friend in New York who is showing you around then Just Ask Christine!

I have lived here for a year so far and never even noticed the beautiful buildings she pointed out, or history behind different streets, signs, and buildings.
